GATHER Network delivers first of the aid generously donated by our faithful supporters. THANK YOU. Alcides Aramayo Bayareco our pastor and grant manager for the Chaco Region in Bolivia has worked tirelessly to assess needs and distribute food, blankets, footwear, and community pharmacy supplies. He and his church members must take supplies into many of the villages by motorcycle because the roads have not been restored. To this point 300people in need have been reached. We hope to continue to provide aid until the planting cycle can once more produce local food. This will be several more months. Please continue to pray for these efforts.
In the Chaco region of Santa Cruz Department of Bolivia home for many folks has been washed away. We continue to pray for resources to help people in the 55 communities that flooded begin to rebuild their lives.
Our GATHER International assessment team would like to thank all who have generously donated to the relief effort to help our Brothers and Sisters in the Chaco region of Bolivia. We are at the halfway point of reaching 20 to 30,000 dollars to help on a relief to development level of support. We would love to send a training team in to help with on going recovery efforts as planting and repairs become more possible. Your help has given emergency food, pharmacy supplies, blankets and footwear to about 300 people. Thank you for the blessing. Please continue to pray for Pastor Alcides and the national support team.
